1. Dr. Rajani Kanth Vangala

Dr. Rajani Kanth Vangala has more than 15 years of post Ph.D experience as scientist, entrepreneur, social worker and facilitator. He finished his Ph.D from Department of Medicine III, Klinikum Grosshardern, LMU,Munich in April 2003 then worked at Center for Genomics and Bioinformatics, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden followed by Department of Hematology, Imperial College London, UK. In 2008 he returned to India worked in commercial organisation before starting his own company Innovo Biologicals Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad. In 2011, he returned back to academic research by joining Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB) and later at Thrombosis Research Institute (TRI) as Head of Translational Research. In 2014, he was promoted as Director of Research and in 2015 as Director of Institute at TRI. His passion is to work with students and develop technologies in genomcis, proteomics, nanotechnology, bioinformatics and engineering.
Prof Gundu Rao, Trustee and Scientific Advisor
Gundu Hirisave Rama Rao was born in Tumkur (Karnataka), India, on 23 August 1937. He is a scientist, entrepreneur and a tenured professor at the Academic Health Center, University of Minnesota. He and Professor John Eaton visited India in 1981 under a National Science Foundation sponsorship (travel grant), to explore opportunities for collaborative research projects. They visited medical institutions from Kashmir in the north to Trivandrum in the south. He again visited India during 1990-93, as a professor and a senior consultant for the government of India under a United Nations Development Program (UNDP) called TOKTEN (Transfer of Knowledge Through Expatriate Nationals) sponsored by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. He is a member of the Minneapolis University Rotary Club. He is listed as a Senior Fulbright Scholar in the Roster. He is an active member of Rotary E-Club, RI.3190, Bangalore, India. He is the founder of the South Asian Society on Atherosclerosis and Thrombosis and AayuSmart LLC, an IT-supported web-based health management company. He has been actively involved in creating awareness, developing educational and preventive programs for the prevention of non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, obesity, metabolic diseases, type 2-diabetes vascular diseases and stroke. Dr. Rao has spent close to 40 years in Minnesota. Prof. Suchetha Shetty: Trustee (Hon), Professor Biochemistry and Head of Research at NITTE medical college (Deemed to be University) With more than 30 years of experience in teaching and training, she has immense knowledge of working with young students. She is devoted to working with students in making them skilled. She has trained several graduate and post-graduate students including Ph.D students. Her expertise in working in medical and non-medical colleges in the eld of science helps us in developing novel strategies for empowering youth. Her focus on improving girl child education has been recognized by NITTE Medical College in Mangalore where she has been give lot of space to establish training centre for Biotechnology.
4. Dr. Samarendra Narayanan: Trustee (Hon), Indian Army Colonel, Former Director AgricultureSkill Counsel of India. Dr. Narayanan has more than 38 years of experience as army veteran, veterinarian, scientist and educationist. His capabilities in skill development and making youth dynamic has resulted him being appointed as Director of Agriculture Skill Counsel of India – South division. He is very able and has in depth knowledge of skills imparting for youth.
5. Mr. Srikara Mahishi: Trustee (Hon), CFD engineer and certifed teacher for German and French languages. He is multifaceted with skills in engineering and cultural aspects along with profciency in languages. He brings a vast experience in integrating engineering concepts into education early on.
